Little Me

Little me can’t speak.

Little me doesn’t dare FEEL.

Little me keeps everything inside.

Little me is scared.

Little me lives for others.

Little me feels powerless.

Little me sits still for too long waiting.

Little me has no self belief.

Little me plays to other people’s rules.

Little me is worried what others think.

Little me lives with an empty heart.

Because all this time little me has been told that her dreams don’t count, because they aren’t ‘real’ life.

Little me has learnt to keep quiet, suppress her words, thoughts, feelings for the sake of protecting others and keeping the peace in any situation.

Little me puts herself last because she’s seen so many times the model of someone who values everyone else’s happiness above her own.

But little me is just a choice.

You can chose to stay small and live an unfulfilled life.

Or you can chose to believe that you are not small.

That you do not have to perform to the world as it was laid out by the people you grew up influenced by.

You can decide instead, to step into YOUR power.

To create life exactly as YOU want to live it.

To play a bigger game in life.

To make a bigger impact.

To create a bigger, brighter, bolder world around you.

To dream bigger.

To KNOW that you are bigger.

To KNOW that you are way more powerful than you believe right now.

But little me won’t find it.
